You cannot be a good host unless you can make a good pot of coffee! Here is my favourite method, using a percolator:
Supplies:
- percolator
- fresh ground coffee
- water (distilled is nice)
- spices (i.e. cinnamon, vanilla: use your favourite!)
Method:
Add water into the vessel, based on the number of cups you will be making (i.e. for 3 cups, add 3 cups water).
Add coffee into the canister (the basic rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per cup).
Add a sprinkling of your favourite spices.
Place the lid on top.
Place percolator onto a hot element, and let it do its trick!
