If you want to add a bit of interest and different flavour to either your veal or chicken burger, why not fry up some strip or peameal bacon and place it amongst the selection of condiments?

We have two kinds of bacon pictured above. One is your standard strip bacon, available almost anywhere. The other type of bacon is peameal, or Canadian bacon. It's easily recognized by having no fat marbling as is the case with strip bacon. Peameal also makes a great sandwich; topped with a little mustard, dee-licious!

Here's a tip for cooking bacon; why not try broiling it on a rack in the oven. This allows any excess fat to drip away. Sizzlin' good!
