Episode 419 - Sew What?
Patchwork Runner
Keeping with the theme...
For an interesting, thematic covering of your sewing luncheon table, go through your linen cupboard and pull out all those linens that you don't have a use for anymore. Any colour or pattern will do. Basically, the idea is to create a sewing-related runner for the table. Attach buttons along the sides and edges of your linen runner and place it along the table. Take some old pieces of fabric, re-cut them, sew them together with nice borders and create buttonholes in them so that you can attach them to your runner.

The great thing about this look is that it's very versatile and it gives it a really nice patchwork quilt feeling to the table runner.
