Bamboo Raft Runner |

Reminiscent of an episode of Gilligan's Island, a great idea for your Hawaiian table is to create a bamboo raft runner. All you need are some bamboo poles and jute cord or twine. Tie the bamboo poles together, weaving the cord in and out in figure eight's around each other. Attach the poles with cord at both ends as well as in the centre. When complete, lay your bamboo raft down on the table as a runner.
