Bamboo is kind of reminiscent of a corn stalk in its early stages. The great thing about it is that you can trim the bottom, stick it in water, and in a couple of weeks you can transplant it. Clip it again, and before you know it, you'll have a Bamboo forest in your home.
You can't forget about the good old Bugs Bunny favourite. Remember when he would swim through the water, sucking air out of a little tiny reed? Well, it probably was a Snake Grass, which is supposed to look like a snake. I love to incorporate clumps of it into an arrangement.
Formium looks like a sword, has a very pointed edge and really shiny leaves. It would be super to incorporate it as an add-on when creating flower arrangements.
