The items that you find at a flea market can often stir up some nostalgia. When I was growing up, my grandmother had a grip stand like this one, and I always wanted one for when I became an adult. Well, thanks to my day of 'antiquing' at the market, now I own my own grip stand.
With a little, flat square of surface on one side of them, you can rest these bowls in
the palm of your hand while you're cooking. Practically engineered, and quite nice- looking as well, grip stands are wonderful.
