Red
hots, get your red hots! If you're like me, you can't imagine
a sports-related get-together without its perfect accompaniment:
hotdogs. If you like them red hot, then you'll love our ideas
on how to bring out the best in them.
We can't talk
about hotdogs without first talking about the buns. Whether they're
studded with Italian herbs and sesame seeds, cornmeal, or just
plain, buns are an essential complement to any hotdog.
Of course,
everybody's tastes are different and thankfully, there are many
options of both buns and hotdogs from which to choose. Traditional
all-beef hotdogs are very popular; they often come with a kosher
certification and they plump up nicely when you cook them. For
the trendsetting, 'au courant' hotdog lover, chicken dogs are
great; although they are a bit smaller than beef, they still cook
very nicely. Finally, you should provide vegetarian dogs for your
guests who prefer not to eat meat. With all of these choices available,
there should be something to satisfy the tastes of each and every
guest.
Wouldn't it
be wonderful if everything were as easy to cook as a hotdog? Simply
place them into a large pot of boiling water, and cook for 10
minutes. As an option, you could also barbecue, or grill them.
Is your mouth watering yet? Well, just wait until you discover
all the wonderful items you can use to top off your dog!
