Family Treasure Chest |
|
|
Looking
for a way to keep your family memories top of mind? Here's our
suggestion for creating a family treasure chest.
Line a wooden
box (a shoebox or hatbox will work as well), with tissue paper.
Then, proceed to assemble all of your family treasures. Perhaps
you rattled around a bit when you were a kid? Add your baby rattle.
Maybe you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth? Add your
baby spoon. Got married, and saved a piece of cake? Stick it in
there as well.
How about
a corsage you saved from your own child's wedding? Marriage certificates,
birth certificates, report cards or even a collection of old family
photos? After you have finished placing everything into the box,
fold over the tissue paper, place the lid on top and tie the box
with complementary ribbon.
Position your
new treasure chest in a great spot in your home for all to enjoy!
