Exotic Arrangements |

The nice thing about exotic arrangements is that the flowers are
usually very large and you don't need that many of them to create
a stunning effect. Here's an idea for a tropical arrangement.
Fill a galvanized metal bucket with sand. Then place one or two
Birds of Paradise, Halconia and Banana flowers. Fill out the arrangement
with some palm fronds. Don't worry, these types of flowers require
very little water. And, most florists will special order them for
you if given sufficient notice.
Now take some lava rock, available at almost any nursery and place
it around the bottom of the arrangement. You may wish to include
something else into this tall arrangement, such as torches. If you
plan on lighting the torches, the arrangement should be placed on
an outdoor patio or deck. |
