Scratching your head for a dinner theme? How about taking a cue
from your favourite decade. In this case we chose the 50's, an optimistic
era known for its bright colours, upbeat mood and the fact that
the table and settings can either be dragged out of the basement
or purchased inexpensively.
A great way to add even more colour to a bright arborite table and
chairs is to use vibrant china and glassware. Cutlery should be
simple, every day stainless can work well. Bold place mats, napkins
and accessories are other ways to add punch to your theme.
Theming an event or dinner to a decade can often inspire what you
plan to serve. This table makes me think of meat loaf and macaroni
