Looking for a new way to use your old wooden cheese containers? Fine cheeses like Camembert, Gorgonzola and Brie are sold in their original wooden, disc-shaped containers. Wrap the container in butcher’s paper and secure the paper using a hot glue gun or two-sided tape.
Then tie a thin, coloured ribbon around the rim of the container or, take butcher string and wrap the cheese as you would a box of fresh pastry.
You can now display your cheese wheel in a cabinet, on a display counter or incorporate it into a buffet table as we did in this episode. It’s a simple presentation trick that has style written all over it! |
