Episode 310 - Sunny Side Up
Duck Eggs
Is it Faberge?
A beautiful, speckled shell, substantially larger than the quail egg, is the duck egg. It is similar to a hen egg; however, the whites of a duck egg are much more gelatinous and the yolks are a brighter yellow. The distinctively gamy flavour is what really makes this particular oval-shaped wonder stand out.
