It is always a nice gesture to give your guests something that they can take home from a party as a memento. For your sewing party, why not give away the lunch baskets which you place on your luncheon table?
To start off, place into each basket a linen napkin, rolled up and held together with a piece of ribbon, which is tied up with a thimble and an inexpensive flower. Next, keeping with the theme, place into the basket a piece of linen, which is a part of the central runner. Who knows? You and your guests may gather together again in a couple of months, and use the fabric to create a quilt!
