One of the best things about doing a show on orange was calling Joan Sternthal, a vintage collectibles expert, who agreed to come and talk about orange collectibles.

According to Joan, during the 1940's, art pottery was the biggest craze in Europe. Items such as handmade orange jugs with beautiful glaze work are highly collectible nowadays as well. Being handmade, they will most likely have some imperfections, and they may even be a bit wobbly, but that's just part of their charm.
