According to my friend Joan Sternthal, an expert in vintage collectibles, although most people tend to call any plasticware "Melmac", there is in fact only one Melmac company. This cute orange set belongs to Joan's kids. The fact that it is somewhat faded is a testament to the fact that she uses it all the time. Great for kids because it is so durable, and its vibrant colours make food that much more appealing.
