This Depression Glass bowl is a beautiful serving piece. With its delicate Iris and Herringbone pattern, it was made in iridescent orange and also clear glass. My friend Joan Sternthal says that the iridescent ones are quite difficult to find, and highly collectible. Can you picture this bowl overflowing with oranges?

The orange Pyrex bowl, from the 1940's is great for mixing, baking, and preparing batters. Very durable, Pyrex comes in many colours; orange being the colour of the moment, as you know!
